Lord, sun it, water it, and nourish it!

Good morning! My name is Charlotte and I am writing to help us give our first thoughts to the Lord.

Psalms 92 says this

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto your name, O most High:

To show forth your loving kindness in the morning, and your faith every night.

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon a psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

For you, Lord, have made me glad through your work: I will triumph in the works of your hands.

It is funny how little things can make you happy. In this move I lost my good bra. It was fairly expensive and I looked everywhere. I could not find it. I told Bill I must have accidentally thrown it away. So I prayed 'Lord, give the angels charge over my bra so that I can find it.' Guess what! Last night I was moving some things to a new lingerie chest that we purchased and just guess what I found back in the back corner - my good bra. Now that it is a little thing but to me it was a big thing. It was an answer to my pray and did I rejoice? You bet!

The deep thought of the Lord which is in the next verse is that we need to pray for more important things and people and God answers in the same way.

He makes me glad through His work!!!!!!!! I will triumph in the works of His hands!!!

O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.

A brutish man knows not: neither does a fool understand this.

Here's a story for you -

In Florida, an atheist became incensed over the preparation of Easter
and Passover holidays. He decided to contact his lawyer about the
discrimination inflicted on atheists by the constant celebrations
afforded to Christians and Jews with all their holidays, while atheists
had no holiday to celebrate.

The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the long
passionate presentation by the lawyer, the Judge banged his gavel and
declared, "Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood and objected to the ruling and said, "Your
honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have
Christmas, Easter and many other observances. Jews have Passover, Yon
Kippar and Hanukkah...yet my client and all other atheists have no such
holiday!"

The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said, "Obviously your
client is too confused to even know about, much less celebrate, his own
atheists' holiday!"

The lawyer pompously said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any such
holiday for atheists. Just when might that holiday be, your Honor?"

The judge said, "Well, it comes every year on exactly the same
date---April 1st! Since our calendar sets April 1st as 'April Fools
Day,' consider that Psalm 14:1, which states, 'The fool says in his
heart, there is no God.' Thus, in my opinion, if your client says there
is no God, then by scripture, he is a fool, and April 1st is his holiday!
Now have a good day, and get out of my courtroom!!"

Isn't it sad how many people we know that don't know the Lord...how many that don't have a clue? and further are not interested in a clue? Every day we need to pray 'God bring someone in my path that I can tell about you.' You know He will do that and even if they don't seem to respond, maybe we can plant a seed and pray that God will sun it and water and nourish it so that they will know Him before it is too late....because you know the hour is late!!!!!!!

Lord, lead us and guide us to the ones that receive our witness and that we can plant Your seeds in their heart so that they will know You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Have a great day!

Ms.Charlotte
